Welcome to Pistachio
Pistachio Dining at Torrens is the first solo venture of local chef David Keeley, and brings a beautiful dining experience to the Woden Valley.
David completed his apprenticeship with Belgian chef Jean Luc Obers at French Restaurant Chez Moustache where he gained a thorough understanding of traditional techniques.

In 2002 he joined James Mussillon's team at Aubergine on the Park where, over the next 4 years, he also spent time working at sister restaurant, Courgette.
With his knowledge and appreciation of fine food continuing to flourish, in 2006 David became the executive chef at Mussillon's third restaurant, Sabayon.
David describes his approach as:
"a commitment to consistently maintain the highest standards. I believe in freshness and simplicity, wherever possible using the best local produce".
The restaurant is conveniently situated in the geographical heart of Canberra at the former site of Pinocchio's Restaurant in Torrens.
